DELIVERY POLICY
Delivery Timeframes While we strive to deliver within the stated time frame, all delivery times are estimates only. We accept no liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, transportation strikes, or other unforeseen events.
Strictly Door-to-Door Service Our delivery service is strictly door-to-door, meaning goods will be delivered to your designated delivery address but not carried inside the premises. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access to the delivery point.
Customer Requests for Additional Assistance If, upon request, our delivery staff assist in carrying goods beyond the door (e.g., into kitchens, store rooms, or downstairs), this assistance is offered at the customer’s own risk. Holland Bazaar accepts no liability for incidents, damages, injuries, or any other occurrences that take place on your premises during or after delivery.
Failed Deliveries It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure accurate delivery details. If a delivery fails due to incorrect information or customer unavailability, additional charges may apply.
Delivery Charges Delivery charges are non-refundable, except in cases of service failure directly caused by us.
Ownership and Risk Ownership and risk of goods pass to you upon successful delivery to your doorstep.
Product Condition Upon Delivery It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery. Any issues must be reported immediately to our customer service team. We accept no liability for damage or defects reported after the delivery is completed.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
Eligibility for Returns Products can only be returned if they are damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.
Conditions for Returns Returned products must be in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Return Timeframe Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery, except for perishable goods, which must be returned on the same day. After this period, we reserve the right to refuse returns.
Refunds Refunds will only be issued at the discretion of Holland Bazaar after the returned product is inspected and approved by our team. Refunds may be processed to the original payment method or as a store credit.
Non-Returnable Items Perishable goods, personalised items, and goods marked as non-returnable cannot be returned or refunded.
Return Shipping Costs Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective items).
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order is dispatched, refunds are subject to our return policy and may be reimbursed at the discretion of Holland Bazaar.
Fraud Prevention We reserve the right to cancel any orders suspected of fraud or misuse of our services. In such cases, payments may be refunded at our discretion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage resulting from the use of our delivery services, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Force Majeure We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.
DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
Customer Data Usage Your personal data will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our delivery services, you consent to this.
CCTV Recording For safety and security, CCTV recording is in operation in our delivery vehicles. Footage may be used in case of disputes or unlawful activities and will be retained in line with our privacy policy.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Complaint Handling Any complaints should be submitted to us in writing. We will address them within 5 working days and in line with applicable consumer protection laws.
Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes must be resolved in the courts of this jurisdiction.
Acceptance of Terms By using our delivery services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services.
Amendments We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant changes.
CREDIT SALES TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
Eligibility for Credit Accounts
Credit facilities are offered at the sole discretion of
Holland Bazaar and are subject to satisfactory credit checks and ongoing
account performance. We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or withdraw
credit arrangements at any time without notice.
Credit Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all credit purchases
must be paid in full within 7 days from the date of invoice. Extended terms may
be granted on a case-by-case basis and confirmed in writing by our Accounts
Department.
Credit Limits
Each credit account is assigned a credit limit, which must
not be exceeded. Holland Bazaar reserves the right to reduce or suspend a
credit limit without prior notice if there is concern regarding payment behaviour,
account activity, or financial risk.
Late Payments
Failure to pay within the agreed terms will result in:
- Suspension
of all further credit sales. - Placement
of a temporary hold on your account, preventing new orders, deliveries, or
services on credit until the outstanding balance is cleared. - Interest
and/or late payment fees in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial
Debts (Interest) Act 1998. - Recovery
actions, which may include referral to a debt collection agency and legal
proceedings. All associated costs will be charged to the customer.
Guarantor Requirement for Credit Purchases Over £500
For any credit purchases exceeding £500, the customer must
provide a named Guarantor who agrees to be jointly and severally liable for the
full repayment of the outstanding amount, including any interest or recovery
costs, in the event of non-payment by the account holder.
- The
Guarantor must be an individual over the age of 18, reside in the UK, and
be financially independent. - A
signed Guarantor Agreement must be completed and approved before credit is
extended above the £500 threshold. - By
acting as a Guarantor, the individual accepts full legal responsibility
for the outstanding debt should the account holder fail to make payment
within the agreed terms. - Holland
Bazaar reserves the right to take direct recovery action against the
Guarantor without first pursuing the account holder.
Failure to provide a valid Guarantor for credit transactions
exceeding £500 will result in the immediate refusal or suspension of credit
services.
Temporary Account Hold
Please be advised that if your account balance becomes
overdue, we will place a temporary hold on your account. This means that all
credit purchases and related services will be suspended until the outstanding
balance is paid in full.

Ownership of Goods
All goods purchased on credit remain the property of Holland
Bazaar until full payment has been received. In the event of non-payment, we
reserve the right to recover goods supplied.
Right to Terminate Credit Arrangement
Holland Bazaar reserves the right to terminate or alter
credit arrangements at any time. Continued use of a credit account implies
acceptance of these terms and conditions as amended from time to time.
Health & Safety Access Restrictions
In the interests of health and safety, Holland Bazaar reserves the right to temporarily restrict, suspend, or refuse entry to any part of its premises during periods of high forklift or vehicle activity, or where any other operational risks are identified. Such restrictions may be applied without prior notice and shall be at the sole discretion of Holland Bazaar.
Holland Bazaar shall not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, delay, or other costs incurred as a result of such restrictions. By entering the premises, visitors acknowledge and accept these conditions.
